Holistic Counselling works with the whole person - the emotional, mental, physical,
social and spiritual aspects. A treatment plan is made that will assist one to achieve optimal health in all areas.
Coined
from the Greek word 'holos', meaning 'whole' or 'complete' Holistic Counselling approaches illness, disease and disorders
(mental, emotional, physical) as parts of a greater whole. It looks at the interconnectedness of the body, mind and spirit
to facilitate wellness.
Holistic Counselling may assist with anxiety, depression, grief and sadness, and it can bring greater
self awareness, a more peaceful centred approach to life, better vitality, and a better ability to deal with traumas, death, divorce,
life threatening illness or abuse . Your individual needs are assessed and treatments offered accordingly. The knowledge,
tools, reading material and encouragement you will receive in this highly personalised approach, empowers you to be
more in control of your life in all areas including health (physical, emotional and mental), finances, work/profession,
relationships, leisure and creativity. Become who you want to be and who is already there waiting to thrive.
You may combine Holistic
Counselling with other healing practices I offer. For example, many of my clients choose to spend time with Holistic Counselling,
followed by a Reiki session, or focused gentle bodywork on selected areas, plus sound healing to complete the session. There are many
ways to take advantage of this healing work.
